Johnny Depp as The Riddler. Sweet.
Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin. Nice.
Angelina Jolie as Catwoman. Meh…

This may be old news to a lot of you out there, but Wall-E is an exceptional movie. Just watched it today, and even as a proud Pixar fan, I was still awed by the creators’ ability to capture so much emotion and so much creativity in a short animated film. Pixar achieved an almost mystical experience with no memorable quotes and only a collection of memorable moments.

If you have not yet seen this film, there is no excuse not to.

Another plus: the Pixar short at the beginning, “Presto”, was amazing. Much better than the forgettable “Boundin” and the mediocre “Lifted”.

Not a Harry Potter fan or a Disney animation fan? Hopefully the yet to be overhyped James Bond movie “Quantum of Solace” can get your cold heart ticking.

Not a huge Harry Potter fan myself but I know some people are pretty excited that the trailer is now out. Would embed it here but can’t find any high quality copies on youtube.

Speaking of movies. “The Fall” looks amazing. Reviews are a bit split, but I loved “Pushing Daisies” (Lee Pace). And there’s no denying that this trailer is beautiful.
